ETUDE HOUSE HAUL~

I absolutely love Etude House. Not only are the packagings neat and pretty, but also their quality is great. Etude House is a famous brand in Korea, and it is usually popular among students. All of the cosmetics above are from Etude House except for the black gel eyeliner, which is from elf.

This BB Cream is called the Precious Mineral BB Cream. If you go to Etude house, there will be exactly three different kinds of this BB Cream.
1. For bright and white skin
2. For sheer and glowing skin
3. For clear and clean skin

According to the sales girl, these are the most popular BB creams in their store! The ones that I bought are #2: For sheer and glowing skin. I have used a lot of different BB creams in the past, and I must say, this has become one of my favorites! (My absolute favorite is from Banila Co.) This BB cream not only covers most of your blemishes, but it is also very affordable! It's only about $14!

I don't have anything against foundation and powder, but I personally like BB Creams a lot more because it is so much easier to apply. Moreover, my makeup doesn't feel too heavy throughout the day. I know that some people believe that BB creams are too "weak" to cover most pimples, dark circles.. etc, but I think BB creams work just as great as foundations. (But only if you find the right one!)

Moving on to my absolute FAVORITE item from Etude House! This item is the #2 Crystal Gold Tear. It costs about $5 and it works just as well as a regular eyeshadow. However, you must apply this product using your fingers. You gently tap the sparkles on your eyelid, and it will make your eyes sparkle like no other! It comes in two different shades: white and gold. According to the sales girl, the white shades work best during spring and summer, while the gold shades are for during fall and winter. And because summer is almost over, and with fall and winter approaching, I purchased the gold shade. You can use this item either above any colored eyeshadow (if you want a little gold effect) or also alone. Just remember to apply eye primer first so that the sparkles stay intact!

This mascara is called the Black Long Lash Mascara. Frankly, this was the most disappointing item I have purchased. It costs almost $10, and it didn't work nearly as well as I thought. It was supposed to give me "long, voluminous eyelashes," but definitely failed to do that. Also, it appears to give me a lot of black clumps on my eyelashes, making my eyelashes look a lot thinner than usual. I will definitely not recommend this product, but at the same time, it might work well on some people.

This item is called the Fresh Cherry Tint. It costs about $6, and overall, I have mixed feelings about this item. Generally, I like applying tint over lipgloss and lipstick, because it tends to stay on a lot longer. I have used different tints from different makeup brands, and came to the conclusion that this tint is not the best, but definitely not the worst. This item works well in the sense that it stays on pretty long, and the color is pretty, but when it eventually dries up, it leaves little pink marks on your lips. In addition, it dries up your lips, as a whole, so your lips can start peeling after awhile. If buying this product, I would recommend applying lip gloss or lip balm over the tint, to help prevent your lips from peeling!

The last item I purchased from Etude House is called the Tear Drop Linter. This liner can be applied to any areas in the eye, but I personally like applying it on my tear duct. This product helps your eyes to look a lot brighter and bigger as well! This costs about $6, and it works well with all kinds of makeup!

My all-time-favorite makeup is my gel eyeliner, which costed only $1 on elf! (eyeslipsface.com) It works amazingly well and it definitely completes my eye makeup! I apply this gel eyeliner with any angled brush (mine is from Sigma. )With all of the mentioned items applied on my face, the finished product looks like this:
